ICI, IUI, Premium, A.R.T.
California Cryobank is committed to providing donor semen specimens of the highest quality, evaluating each specimen to ensure that it meets our high quality standards.
Please consult with your physician regarding which type and preparation of specimen you will need and the number of vials you should order.
Specimen Preparations
CCB offers two types of specimen preparations:
- Intracervical Insemination (ICI) specimens (standard)
- Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) specimens (pre-washed prior to freezing)
Specimen Categories
We offer the following specimen categories:
- Premium specimens
- Assisted Reproductive Technology (A.R.T.) specimens, which are designed for use in a variety of A.R.T. technologies such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), GIFT, ZIFT and ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection). Since fewer sperm are required for A.R.T. procedures, our A.R.T. vials contain fewer total motile cells.
